4/2/2017 0 Comments The Primrose PostFrom the editor...Welcome to the very first edition of Primrose Glade's newspaper "The Primrose Post"! This is where you will be able to keep up to date with all the latest happenings in our village. We begin with a report on the newly opened Berry Grove School. I hope you enjoy... ...Hubert Alan Huckleberry First thing was Mr Buckley's Maths class, Apparently chatting is allowed...as long as it is about the work! Upstairs, pupils were enjoying an art lesson, led by Mrs Renard, the Teaching Assistant Also upstairs, rehearsals for the school play "Princess Lily and the Rose" were underway. Mrs Buckley is in charge of props! Here is Lucky Snow-Warren having his measurements recorded. He tried to convince Nurse Norwood that his height should be measured to the tips of his ears! Imagine my surprise when I discovered my son Dennis in bed in a quiet corner of Nurse Norwood's room! But it was only a precaution after Dennis was hit on the head by a hockey ball while practicing for Sports Day. He insisted he was fine and was soon dashing back outside. Join us in the next edition of The Primrose Post when we will continue our report of a day at Berry Grove School Kids Corner...by Dennis HuckleberryJokesHow many rabbits does it take to change a lightbulb?....Only one, if it hops straight to it! What do you call Bears without ears?....B's! What kind of shoes do frogs wear....open toad! ColouringAnnouncements Eleanor and Mortimer bramble are delighted (and somewhat surprised!) to announce the arrival of a beautiful little boy - Bilberry
Congratulations! Bilberry is joined by two new cousins - Maurice Bramble and his new wife Lillian welcome twins - Hazel and Honey Congratulations! And Congratulations also to our very own Cecil Maces, who announces his engagement to Miss Brie Norwood! (Now I thought this was very fast work, as Nurse Norwood has only been in the village a few weeks! But apparently these two are old flames. Brie turned down Cecil's first proposal, believing it would not be fair to her young daughter Katy, and Cecil returned home broken-hearted. But Katy missed Cecil so much that she insisted her mother follow him to Primrose Glade, and we are all so glad she did. After all, everyone loves a happy ending!) They have yet to set a date for the wedding, but what I want to know is, who will take the photographs?!
